How it works

Here is exactly how this goes.

Nobody should have to guess what they’re walking into. Four steps, start to finish, including who your partner hears from and what stays private.

  1. Step 1

    Start alone

A private 10-minute conversation with Elena about your relationship.

You don’t need your partner’s agreement to begin, and most people don’t have it yet. Nearly everyone arrives here alone.

You answer a few short questions: what brought you here, which fight keeps repeating, and what you want more of and less of. Then you talk to Elena for about ten minutes, out loud, with nobody defending themselves.

By the end she has said back what she heard, and she has enough to run a good first session. You can skip every question in this step, and she’ll ask instead.

  2. Step 2

    She invites your partner

They get their own private introduction first.

The invitation comes from Elena rather than from you, so it doesn’t arrive as an accusation. That is the moment most couples get stuck on.

You pick the tone: gentle, direct or light. We draft the message, you edit any word of it, and it sends from your phone, so it comes from you and not from a company.

What your partner opens is built for a skeptic: no forms, no card, nothing to download. Their first fifteen minutes are a private conversation with Elena. She explains what this is, answers what they ask, and doesn’t put a question to them until they’re ready.

  3. Step 3

    First session, free

45 minutes, both of you. No card required.

A full 45-minute session with both of you in it, on two devices or one couch. Nothing is held back for the paid version, and no card is taken.

It runs to a shape. First a short check-in. Then each of you says what you want more of and less of, while the other listens rather than answers. Then one real topic, worked through. She names the pattern she watched happen, in plain words. You practise one small skill out loud, and you leave with one thing to try during the week.

Within minutes of the end you both get the same written note: what you named, the pattern underneath it, and one move to try this week.

  4. Step 4

    A weekly rhythm

One session a week, at a time you pick.

One session a week at a slot you choose, on both of your calendars. A standing time is what makes this a commitment between the two of you rather than another app reminder.

Between sessions you get private voice check-ins for thinking out loud, a message thread with Elena, and whatever she gave you to practise. She remembers all of it and opens next week where you left off.

Your notebook shows which topics keep coming up and which moves you have tried. It will never score your relationship.

The partner invite

The hardest part is asking. So we don’t make you ask.

One person almost always finds this first. They shouldn’t also have to carry the conversation about whether you’re “that couple” now.

It comes from your coach

The message your partner reads is in Elena’s voice: “I’ve started talking with Sam, and I’d like to hear your side.” It doesn’t arrive as an accusation, because it isn’t coming from the person they’d argue with.

You pick the tone and you get the final say

Gentle, direct or light. We draft it, you edit it, and it sends from your phone, so it arrives from you and not from a company they’ve never heard of.

What they open is built for a skeptic

No forms, no card, nothing to download. They read one line from you, the three promises she makes, and then there is one button.

Their first fifteen minutes are private

Elena introduces herself, says what she is, and asks two or three easy questions. There is no intake form, and their answers stay theirs.

If they don’t come yet, you’re not stuck

Your account still works on its own: check-ins, kickstart sessions, and help thinking through how to ask. We remind them twice at most, then never again.

The invite

Elenavia Sam

“Sam and I have started talking about you two. I’d like to hear your side — privately, before anything else. Fifteen minutes, no sides taken.”

Meet Elena
Elena, as she appears in a session

Inside a session

You can tell me the version you’d tell a friend. I’ll ask for the rest when it matters.

Elena, your coach

There is no intake form. Elena asks for what she needs as she goes, in the order a person can answer it.

The confidentiality promise

What you say alone stays alone.

This is the part people ask about first. There are two kinds of conversation here, and they are kept apart on purpose.

Private: your check-ins

Anything you say to Elena one-to-one belongs to you. She doesn’t quote it or hint at it in a joint session, and your partner can’t see it. The system that stores it can’t hand it to her while she is sitting with the two of you.

Shared: your sessions together

What happens in a joint session is shared, because you were both in the room. The note, the move for the week, and the patterns she names out loud: you both see all of it, in the same words.

What she does carry across: her own read. If she learns privately that one of you goes quiet when you feel accused, she will steer the joint session around that without saying where it came from. Your words stay where you said them.

The one limit, stated up front: this is limited confidentiality, the same policy a good couples practice runs. She won’t hold a secret that makes the work dishonest, like an affair that is still going on or a decision to leave that is already made. She won’t reveal it behind your back either. She will tell you she can’t work around it, and why.

The rules, plainly

What does Elena keep private?
Any session or check-in you have with her on your own. She never shows it, quotes it, or summarizes it to your partner, and it never appears on the shared page.
Does she use what I tell her privately?
Yes, the way a good coach would. If she knows a topic is loaded for you, she'll steer the joint conversation with that in mind. She doesn't reveal what you said or that you said anything at all.
What do we both see?
The notes from sessions you both attend, the week's move, and your couple snapshot. That's the whole list. If it isn't on it, your partner doesn't see it.
Is there a limit?
One. If she believes someone is in danger, she says so plainly and points you to human help. She's a coach, and safety comes before coaching.
Does Elena speak my language?
She follows the language you speak — start in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or most major languages and she answers in kind. English is her strongest register today, and couples who switch languages mid-conversation are something she handles better than most humans do.

No card, no catch

Your first session is the whole session.

A full 45 minutes with both of you, and you keep the written note whether or not you come back. There is no shorter free version and no paywall halfway through.

How your free session works

  1. TodayFull 45-min session, both of you. No card.
  2. Your first 7 daysEverything stays open, free: sessions, check-ins, the notebook.
  3. Only if you continue$49/mo for both of you. Cancel or pause in one tap.

One more thing

You don’t need your partner’s permission to begin.

Nearly everyone arrives here alone. Ten minutes on your own is a complete first step.
